Dimitris Frosinis teaches Electric Bass, at Musical Praxis Conservatory.

Dimitris Frosinis was born in 1966 in Melbourne.

He started playing bass at the age of 18 and a few years later attended private lessons with George Fakanas.

A member of the “legendary” The Down Town Beat in the 90’s, he also played with them Blues Bug, Funky Chicken, Volume, Triodos, Andreas Georgiou Quartet, Extended Funk Family.

He has collaborated with dozens of Greek artists both on the record and in live performances, among them Dionysis Tsaknis, Nikos Portokaloglou, Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Dimitris Mitropanos, Thanos Mikroutsikos, George Dalaras, Marios Fragas, Marios Fragas, Marios Fragas Tournas, Christos Dantis, Manto, Michalis Hatzigiannis, Eurydice, Theodosia Tsatsou, Manos Pyrovolakis, Spyros Grammenos, Renos Charalambidis, Thanasis Alevras.

He has also taken part in theatrical performances: “Zebra Pajamas ”(Badminton Theater) and Karagizis’ Christmas at Vienna ”(Concert Hall).
For the last 10 years he has been playing with Panos Mouzourakis.

He taught electric bass, giving private lessons continuously from 1995 to 2019.
