      

George Karagiannis is a professional musician / guitarist, composer and guitar teacher and lives in Athens.
He started teaching and playing professionally at the age of 20 in personal projects first and then in musical theater performances and as a session guitarist with well-known domestic Pop and RnB artists (Tamta / Paparizou / Sakis Rouvas / Stavento).

He has appeared in hundreds of music scenes, shops, stadiums as well as in several TV, radio and internet shows.

At the age of 24, already having enough professional experience and technically high playing level, he started Jazz guitar and harmony lessons with George Argyropoulos, a graduate of Berklee College of Music, something that played an important role in shaping his music and teaching approach.

Since then he started the implementation of his personal guitar method, combining the phrasing and the technical elements of Rock and Metal with the harmonious-central approach of Jazz and Fusion.

In 2018 he released his first Instrumental Progressive Metal EP, “Past.Present.We” called project “Chasing Dots”.
That same year, Christos Tsakalis (Tsakalis AudioWorks) approached him to become a demonstrator for The Namm Show 2019 event in Anaheim, California.

Now, while maintaining a busy schedule of live shows, recordings and teaching, he is working on a series of video tutorials.

George Karagiannis is endorsed by La Bella (strings)
