George Lykoudis teaches Trumpet, at Musical Praxis Conservatory.

Studies & Educational Activity

George Lykoudis was born and lives in Piraeus. He holds a degree in classical trumpet (class of Ioannis Karabetsos). His involvement with music began at the age of 8 with guitar lessons and his participation in the children’s choir “D. Typaldou “. He followed his studies at the Music High School of Ilio and at the same time at the Conservatory Polyphonic School of Music, studying Electric Guitar and Harmony of Music (Solfege, Piano, Music History). He studied engineering at the Aspropyrgos Merchant Marine Academy (AEN) and later joined the Air Force as a non-commissioned officer. In parallel with his studies he collaborated with various musical groups as a guitarist. In 2012 he began his studies in jazz trumpet with Stelios Hatzikaleas at the Art Conservatory of G. Fakanas and in the following years he studied with M. Theodosakis and D. Papadopoulos while at the same time attending Jazz improvisation classes with Theodore Kotsifas, Giannis Papadopoulos .
