Paraskevas Kitsos teaches Electric Bass, Classical & Jazz Double Bass, at Musical Praxis Conservatory.

  

Studies

Paraskevas Kitsos was born in Athens in 1978.

He studied classical guitar and graduated from the Athens National Conservatory with honors. He also attended bass lessons with George Zikogiannis as well as jazz harmony lessons. At the same time, he graduated from the IEK Akmi College in sound engineering. He also studied under lead bass player Vangelis Zografos and earned his diploma with distinction.

Professional & Educational Activity

Ηe has collaborated in live performances both in Greece and abroad, with the musicians M. Lidakis, G. Haroulis, M. Fragoulis, F. Dara, M. Strofalis, YAN VAN, N. Xidakis, D. Papadimitriou, P. Mouzouraki, G. Mylonas, K. Toubanaki, E. Zouganeli, Yiota Nega, Penny Baltatzis, Yannis Kotsiras etc. Besides, he participated in the recording of albums for the musicians M. Lidakis, N. Xidakis, G. Mylonas, E. Zemenidis, T. Tsalapatis, G. Dallaras and E. Zouganeli. He has also participated in theatrical performances such as “Berlin-Tel Aviv” with Mania Papadimitriou at the Art Theater, Eleni Gassoukas’ “Heroes” S. Fasoulis› musical “CHICAGO” and many more. He has collaborated with the ERT Symphony Orchestra, ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra, and the Athens Symphonic Orchestra. He is a founding member of the jazz band MOMO TRIO, having published the albums NO VACANCY (2012), INATI 2015 and ORDINARY (2017). In 2016 he released his first personal album titled «ΠΟΛΕΜΟΣ». The second release which came in 2018 was entitled «In between the eyes».

Since 2009, he has been teaching electric bass and double bass at the Musical Praxis Conservatory (Athens).
